A Wet World

Trice the turtle wanted to see the world. He had seen it from a distance, once, when he was young. Trice wished he had stopped to see more of it, but a strong instinct had driven him into the water and he had never left it since. One morning, Trice built up the courage to leave the ocean and find out what the world was. The trip to the beach was easy. Trice braced himself and shot out of the water only to be greeted by a blast of hot air. But the heat was unbearable so he jumped back into the water strait away.
